The Pass Plus course is aimed at new drivers and is an established course designed by the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) along with driving instruction experts and leading motor insurers. It consists of six training modules covering driving under different conditions; such as driving at night, in different weather conditions, driving in town, on rural roads, on dual carriageways and motorways.

Although I felt ready for the road after passing my test with Hazels Motorschool, I decided to do the Pass Plus course with Thea. It was a great way to learn those vital extra skills that you don’t cover as a learner driver.
Motorway driving is completely different to driving on any other road and I became more confident in my driving generally as a result. The Pass Plus course puts you into situations that you may not normally face as a new driver, I realised that driving really does improve with experience.
Although the course is a minimum of 6 hours, mine was split into two three hour sessions and we drove about 200 miles in total. Driving with Thea over that period of time helped me not only to gain confidence, but I became even more aware of the dangers on the road. I would definitely recommend Pass Plus. It was a great experience!
